Picking Colors!

When Picking Colors...CONSIDER THIS:

LOCATION...of the wedding or reception.  If you are having an outdoor wedding in the fall it might not be a good idea to pick bright pink.  With the leaves changing and the hues of orange, brown, and red the color pink probably wouldn't be your best choice.  If you are having an indoor wedding and the venue has all white walls and you are in a white gown, by having your bridesmaids in a lighter dress it might start to all looked washed out.  It would be a good idea to pick bolder colors that will accent the white well.

SEASON...Colors blend so much better when they are in season.  Just as in fashion and design, weddings can be "IN" or not.  Try to pick colors that are in season or in style to create a wow factor at your wedding.  By doing this it makes choosing centerpieces and decor a lot easier as well becuase it will all be "IN" as well.

THEME...The theme of your wedding, whether it is fun, elegant, vintage, bright or playful is important to consider when selecting the colors for your wedding.  It is hard to have a playful wedding with browns and neutral colors and elegance is hard to come by with fuschia or orange.  Beware of what colors go with your theme in order to pull of the effect you want.

As a bride, choosing your colors is one of the funnest and easiest parts of planning your wedding. Remember to keep it simple and love your choice once your made it!

Although it doesn't help you pick colors for your wedding, you can take a color personality test by clicking here.  It's kinda fun!

Buatte Wedding

So I mentioned we did our first wedding and finally we have pictures to show! Unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out with the lights dimmed so you don't get the full effect but at least you will get the idea!

The Beginning!

I am so excited to announce that we are officially in business!  We've been doing a lot of working and planning to get organized so that we can offer a spectacular service to the residents of St. George and surrounding areas!

A proper introduction might be appropriate.  I am Amber! I have three kids (6,3,and 2) and get to stay home with them.  I am also a student trying to finish up my bachelors in business with emphasis in visual technology.  It's been a lot of work and a long time coming but I am getting closer.

Melanie is also a stay at home mom with three kids (7,6 and 4) and is an awesome homemaker!  She is very creative and passionate about what she does and organized beyond belief! She takes care of every detail in everything she does!  She will be posting as well so you will be able to get to know her as well.

We decorated our first paid wedding yesterday!  I am excited to post pictures and show you how well we did!  We heard a lot of great comments about the decorations!  Stay tuned for updates on that!
